Mirja Engelhardt was born in Guetersloh in North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany. In the 90ies she studied Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund. At Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall/UK she completed one term of Illustration studies before she graduated from university in Germany. Since 2001 she is working freelance as an illustrator, storyboard artist and as a designer in Berlin.
